Architect Sabu Francis; an alumnus of IIT Khargpur, is the driving force behind the team. He has over 23 years of his own experience in this field and his company; Sabu Francis & Associates, has a cumulative experience of over 60 man-years.

Mr. Sabu Francis is acknowledged to be among the first architects in India to offer IT solutions for the design and analysis of space. His IT solutions have been put to use since 1989. They have been used for over three million square-foot of actual architectural works. His work has also influenced the knowledge processes of several NGOs who are conducting research in the domain of medicine.

Mr. Sabu Francis won the 1991 special award for excellence in architectural research from JIIA (Journal of Indian Institute of Architects) for an important discovery in the mathematics of the representation of architecture. His papers have been published all over; including two refereed International conferences in the area of computer aided design in architecture. SFA and IIT Bombay have conducted two important research projects which was funded by MNES (Ministry of Non-Conventional Energy Sources)
